Cosma is a corporate commercial partner with broad experience of UK and international cross-border transactions across a variety of industry sectors.
Cosma's practice involves regularly advising businesses on general corporate work, different aspects of international trade law, commercial agreements, debt recovery and insolvency.
He also acts for individuals setting up new ventures by providing them with on-going assistance and advice throughout the life of the business, commencing prior to the formation of the entity carrying on all the way through to dealing with the vast legal issues that arise in connection with running a business.
In addition to the above, Cosma specialises in competition law and assists clients across a wide spectrum of areas on matters ranging from abuse of market dominance to cartel investigations.
Cosma is dually qualified as a UK solicitor and as an Italian lawyer (avvocato) and has gained substantial private practice and in-house experience both in Italy and in London, where he has worked at the Office of Fair Trading and at a major city law firm.
He holds an LL.M. in International Trade Law from the University of Essex.
Cosma is fluent in Italian and he enjoys travelling and exploring jazz music venues.

Shazia is a partner specialising in commercial and corporate matters and areas of employment law. Her practice as a lawyer has included dealing with structured finance, commercial contracts and business development. She covers aspects of company law, debt recovery, a wide range of corporate and general commercial agreements and business law issues.
Shazia’s clients consist of SMEs and she often works alongside different in-house business teams, which contributes to her all-round knowledge and understanding of the needs of corporate clients.
Her experience includes having worked in-house as legal counsel for a London based asset management company in the City where she was responsible for drafting and negotiating all contracts affecting the business and running the day-to-day legalities of the firm.
Companies and individuals also seek Shazia’s assistance in employment law matters such as employment contracts and compromise agreements.
Shazia is qualified as a Solicitor of England & Wales and also as a New York Attorney and Counsellor-at-Law. She also holds an LL.M. in European Union Law from the University of Essex.
In her spare time Shazia enjoys creative writing and travelling. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi and has intermediate knowledge of Italian.
